Baby Shower!

Lori Wiese (my sister-in-law) and Denise Wiese (my mother-in-law) graciously put together a baby shower for me. Rochelle Diersen (Isaac's cousin's wife) also helped. My shower was on January 17 at the church we attend (Johnston E. Free Church). It was a great turnout of guests and we received a lot of wonderful (and much needed) gifts from everyone. Thank you!!!!

Here is what the setup looked liked and some fun pictures from this day.

I put together a slide show of Nathan pictures so everyone could see him. Two stuffed animals (giraffe and zebra) from his room were displayed on each side of the TV. Laying in the middle in front of the TV displayed Nathan's first size diaper (Extra Preemie).

Here's all the yummy goodies and drinks. I had a special request of Crescent Roll Bars and Banana Bread with nuts. We also had cheese/crackers and cupcakes with coffee and punch.

The adorable diaper cake with very cute little cars. How many diapers did it take to make this cake?! This was one of the games at my shower. The other fun activities were: Everyone to take a diaper and write a little something on it. Baby Bingo was being played when I was opening our gifts. A piggy bank was passed around for everyone to put in however much change they wanted; then to guess what the total amount was.

Lookie! It's a pee-pee tepee. Actually called a Wee Block but the other name is more fun!

A fun little side note: I was suppose to register for baby gifts with Lori and Rochelle the day Nathan was born!!!!
