Santa Visit 2014 Highlights:
Early December 2014 Nathan had the opportunity to see Santa at the Children's Museum downtown. He enjoyed the crafts (making ornaments), coloring, and having sweet treats. He was excited to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas. We walked around the Children's Museum after visiting the jolly o' fellow. Nathan loved the Lego display, seeing the dinosaur skeletons, and viewing the lava presentation. For some reason, Nathan is fascinated by lava (we even have a children's book about lava) so he stood there in awe watching the lava video clip.
Happy 6th Birthday Highlights:
Nathan turned six years old two days before Christmas. His sixth birthday was celebrated with an ice cream cake brought by the force of Darth Vader (action figure) as his cake topper. His face expressions were priceless when opening his presents this birthday. He received lots of great toys, games, and books.
Christmas 2014 Highlights:
Elf on the Shelf was introduced to our family this year. Nathan named his elf Buddy. Buddy is a crazy little elf that can be discovered anywhere around the house. This year he left several notes for Nathan encouraging him to be a good boy for his parents and teachers. Buddy also made a mess of cotton balls one night; and another night left a message spelled out of candy on the kitchen counter. We had a nice Christmas and opened our presents at home. Santa fulfilled most of Nathan's wish list. His big present (from Santa) was a remote control car. Now he drives around with the big boys in the family (Daddy, Papa Campbell, Uncle Tyler and Uncle Brandon).
We had a nice Christmas this year visiting the Wiese grandparents and family for the day. Nathan enjoyed running around the house with all his cousins.
January 2015 Highlights:
We celebrated the new year with the Campbell family. The guys drove their remote control cars outside in the snow. Nathan enjoyed more presents from the Campbell side of the family. He got lots of great Legos, Playmobile sets, plus more books and games.
Another loose tooth was discovered; a bottom tooth.
Nathan is such a huge Star Wars fan now. He enjoyed getting Star Wars action figures and Star Wars Legos with some birthday and Christmas money he received. He loves the movies and has watched them all over and over again. It's fun listening to him talk and get excited about different characters or spaceships within the movies. He's growing up so fast and becoming interested in bigger boy things.
February 2015 Highlights:
Poor Nathan came down with a bad stomach bug and was very sick for two days! It was hard to see him in such discomfort even though we did the best we could to help him through it. We were thankful that this nasty bug didn't spread further in our household.
Nathan had fun decorating his Valentine's Day box this year. He had quite the supply of stickers to pick and choose from. Hum, wonder where he would get so many stickers from?

Announcement for the future - Nathan informed me that he is going to stay living at our house; that Mommy and Daddy are moving out. He is going to have a Jeep when he gets older too...and his wife is going to be the driver of his Jeep. Oh, kids!
