Special Spring 2015

March 2015 Highlights:
We had parent/teacher conferences on March 5th.  Nathan had a great report from his teacher  He is doing very well academically and has been doing much better with proper school behavior.  For a while he was having trouble talking to friends when he was supposed to be listening, playing with his pencil, etc.

On March 7th Nathan lost another tooth (his left side at the bottom).  He pulled it out himself!

April 2015 Highlights:
Nathan loved the goodies the Easter Bunny left in his basket.  He had fun searching around the fireplace room and kitchen for eggs filled with jelly bean goodness!  Here are a few pictures capturing the moment.

We're moving!  Nathan is doing great with the news of moving to a new house.  He has a positive attitude about the whole process.  Before moving he asked questions like "Do we get to take my bed?", "Do we get to take your bed?", Do we take the potties?".  Sometimes Nathan has a hard time with change so it was a blessing that he is doing really well about moving.  He mentioned that he would miss our old house and asked if he could have a picture of our old home displayed when we are living in our new home.  Nathan was a great helper collecting apple boxes from the grocery store.  We went several times a week coming home with more and more boxes to use for packing.  Nathan would enjoy a free cookie from the bakery each trip for more boxes.

Moving Day - April 27

Nana came to stay at our house for a week while Mommy and Daddy relaxed in Mexico (a trip scheduled months ago) before the craziness of moving.  Nana had to finish packing up the kitchen and Nathan's room for us since moving day was right after we got back from the trip.  Nathan had a great one-on-one time with Nana and then later Papa during the weekend.

Nana made chocolate chip cookies!

The day we moved into our new house, Nathan had a school concert that evening.  We had nothing going on at all; no big deal!  We ended up having great seats to watch Nathan and the whole Kindergarten class perform a bedtime theme concert...while wearing pajamas of course!  He did a great job and it was really fun to watch.

May 2015 Highlights:
On May 5th we visited Nathan's school for an art show.  There were several art pieces displayed on the hallway walls.  In the library his pottery was displayed with others from his class.  It was fun having Nathan proudly show us around his works of art.

Nathan helped Daddy plant a couple trees in the backyard.  It was cute to hear Nathan ask Daddy how to use the shovel.  Here are a couple pictures of getting dirty planting trees together in our new backyard!

May 11th marks the day for Nathan loosing another tooth (at the bottom).  He said "Mommy pull it!".  It was really loose and came out easily.  Believe it or not, there is no photo documenting this tooth void!

Mother's Day 2015

Nathan is doing great adjusting to our new house.  He likes to ride his bike in the cul-de-sac in front of our house.  He has been playing a lot in the backyard; usually dressing up as some sort of super hero or ninja running around the berm in the backyard with a toy sword or light saber.  Nathan is doing well playing in his room by himself too; this is a great sign that he is getting comfortable being in our new house.

The Campbell family came to stay for Memorial Weekend.  It was fun hosting this holiday at our new house.  Nathan loved having Nana, Papa, and Uncle Brandon visit.
