15 Weeks Old

Nathan turned 15 weeks old on April 7th. It’s amazing how fast time is going by. The day he was born is still very clear to me. I’ve already mentioned how he has a strong neck (holding his head up really well) and now his little legs are getting stronger. He “stands” for brief periods when I’m holding him up on my lap. He has given Mommy a few more full nights of sleep. I’m so proud of him that he has adjusted to sleeping all night on his own without me needing to do anything. There was a time or two he would wake up around 3:00 am but easily returned to sleep when I gave him a pacifier. I knew he was ready to eliminate the middle of the night feeding because he was not so interested in eating much at 5:00/6:00 am when we get up and ready for the day. I wanted to make sure he definitely ate at this time otherwise I would be really uncomfortable at work until my first pumping time at 9:30.

He is starting to grow out of some of his newborn outfits. In preparation, I washed all his 3-month old clothes for him to start wearing soon. He is wearing size one diapers now. They are a little big on him but at least they fit fine; should not cause blowouts. I figured making this size switch was fine since I ran out of newborn size diapers and the minimum weight for size one diapers is 8 lbs.

Here are a few pictures of Nathan at 15 weeks old.
