3 Months Old

Can you believe it? Nathan turned 3 months old yesterday (March 23rd). It's so amazing he has been out in this big world for three months now when he "should have been" only two weeks old. Here are some fun facts about our little bundle of joy!

* Nathan really enjoys his bath; is very content and quiet. Bath nights are Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. I kept the same bathing schedule the NICU had for him.

* He has rolled over again from tummy to back during tummy time after his bath. It's fun to see the changes he is making. This is only the beginning........

* It's so cute to see Nathan hold his head up when laying on my chest (with my hand right behind his head of course). His head is still a bit wobbly but he does a great job holding it up for quite a while. He looks side to side while holding his head up too.

* I would say his breathing is no longer a concern while feeding. I watched him like a hawk for many weeks when he first came home and listened to his breathing. I wouldn't watch TV or talk on the phone when he was eating. But now I'm comfortable to say that he has outgrown this. Praise the Lord!

* He is currently at 3 ounces of milk and is wearing newborn diapers and clothes. He recently decreased from eight feedings a day to seven on his own (this started March 15th). He gets up only once during the night.

Just this past weekend (March 22), Nathan had his first ride in his stroller when we went to the Lawn & Garden Show. Talk about a smooth ride!

Here are some pictures to enjoy of Nathan at 3 months old!

Below are a couple pictures from a few days prior (taken March 20th)!
