* Nathan is almost exclusively walking. Instead of tossing/rolling his ball around the house, he now loves to kick his ball and walk around with it. Maybe he will be a soccer player someday? Nathan can get on and off his walker car by himself; sometimes he gets on backwards but still makes it move. He makes the motion of getting one knee up to crawl onto furniture (something other than stairs).
* It's so cute to see Nathan play with a truck, car, or train. He moves it back and forth while making truck noises. He also repeats some sounds we make; especially the vroom noise Daddy makes while carrying Nathan around the house. Nathan can say "uh-oh" and a few times it sounded like he said "thank you".
* Unfortunately Nathan's temper has dramatized a little more than last month. He throws a mini tantrum on the floor when something doesn't go his way.
* Nathan is fascinated with items in Grandpa Monte's garage when he is dropped off weekday mornings - he especially loves Grandpa's "tractor" (John Deere riding lawn mower). He enjoys sitting on the seat of the mower and yank on the steering wheel or standing in the trailer.
* Nathan's love for being outside has made me realize I will have to accept dirty clothes or adjust his wardrobe to having play clothes and nice clothes. He is such a boy while spending time outside getting down on his hands and knees; poking at the dirt with a rock or stick, or walking around the porch or deck holding a river rock from our landscaping.
* He is wearing 24 month size shirts and 18 month size pants. The 24 month pants are way too long and a little too big in the waist yet. Nathan continues to do well with table foods but not completely sold on meats though he will accept the occasional bite.
