* Nathan quickly learned how to crawl downstairs by getting on his hands and knees and crawling his way down. He still loves to listen to music and expresses his liking by dancing or bopping his head in the car. Nathan sometimes walks around the house on his tip-toes (something his Daddy does to this day). He is still crazy about playing with a ball of any size (bouncy ball, hacky-sack, sport balls, exercise ball). One day he was mistaken by the tomato sitting on the kitchen counter pointing to it and saying "ball".
* His vocabulary has increased more from last month. He says "hot" and "acky" in a soft spoken voice. Nathan also says "Oh, dear!", "thank you", "love you", and the classic word "mine"! He gives hugs and will give you a high-five if you ask him. We are practicing on blowing kisses.
* Nathan enjoys his little swimming pool. He wasn't sure about it at first and didn't want to sit down. By the second day, he warmed up to the idea and enjoyed sitting down playing with a bath toy and splashing like crazy. He managed to get the sliding door and kitchen windows wet from the middle of the deck.
* Our little guy was in his first wedding (July 24th) for his Uncle Tyler's wedding and now officially Aunt Jamie. He was the ring bearer (aka Frodo). Jamie gave him a cute little black t-shirt that said 'Official Ring Bearer' in the front and 'Ring Security' in white letters on the back. Nathan performed fairly well during the ceremony but didn't make it quite half way up the aisle. He decided that he would pick up the rose petals that the flower girl was sprinkling on the runner. After picking up a few petals, he acted as if he wasn't sure what was going on and started heading back the direction he came from.
* Nathan is almost completely off baby food jars; just has an occasional jar to finish what is left in the pantry. He wants to eat bigger portions of food instead of having his food cut up in small pieces for him. He likes to use his fork and spoon; and is able to stab some bites of food on his own with the fork. When Nathan tries new foods, he says "yum" while chewing. He is acquiring new foods well; slowly but surely. Daisy still likes to hang out around Nathan's high chair waiting for "treats" to drop from his tray.
* He is still wearing 24 month size clothes (although some are starting to get snug). He is still in size 5 diapers and wears size 7 shoes. Nathan's black dress pants for the wedding were a size 2T. They fit him nicely after tightening the adjustable waist and shorting the leg length just a little.
Enjoy these pictures of Nathan at 19 months old.

He just loves his blankie!
