It just amazes Mommy and Daddy that Nathan is now 7 months old. He is a wonderful little boy that continues to smile, laugh, and be happy all the time. He has made even more changes since the last month:
* He has discovered his tongue! He makes loud smacking and clicking noises with his tongue and makes even more sounds than before. He likes to have conversations and "talk" about his day.
* Just recently he started rice cereal and is doing well with this new task. He's getting the hang of it and sometimes opens his mouth for Mommy waiting for the next spoonful. He still takes five to six ounces of formula five times a day and one serving of rice cereal a day; soon to test two times a day of cereal.
* Nathan enjoys snuggling with his blanket when he goes down for a nap and bedtime. He likes to bury his head in his blanket when it's on your shoulder and moves his head back and forth until he gets comfortable. It's quite cute. We are fortunate that he is not dependent on his pacifier and rarely needs it for comfort.
* He enjoys playtime on the floor or playpen to kick and stretch. He can do a non-stop roll which is fun to watch. He has a couple stuffed animals that he likes to play with....goober on.
* The hair on Nathan's little head is getting longer and lighter in color. He actually can get a little bit of bed head now! Mommy will have to start using his hair brush more than just after bath time. He is now wearing six month size clothes and still in size two diapers; almost ready for size three.
* Are we in the teething phase? It seems to be here or almost here. Nathan has been given Tylenol on occasion because he just seemed uncomfortable. He has woken up during a nap or at night crying which isn't like him to wake up in the middle of sleep.
Here are a few pictures to enjoy of Nathan at 7 months old on July 23rd.
