Got Milk?

Can you believe I had so much breast milk bottled and in the freezer that we had to buy a deep freeze to store it all in? Just this month, Nathan caught up to me with my frozen supply and I can no longer keep up with him. Starting June 5th, I had to provide Lori with formula to feed him. That was a sad day for me; I even teared up when I made his first bottle of formula at home. I wanted to breastfeed for a year but revised to six months when I realized he was catching up to me; I just barley made it. I'll stop pumping the end of this month. I keep trying to be positive about this, remind myself that he received breast milk when it was most critical at the beginning of his life and I've been fortunate to go this long being a working mother. It's hard to focus on the positive instead of the negative but after all, he is a very happy and healthy baby and we are two very blessed parents.
